1 Exhibition Stand - 21 individual exhibitor zones

Designing creative, engaging, and sustainable exhibition stands is at the heart of everything we do at Love Expo. To showcase our creativity here’s a look at a complex brief we met recently for UK Innovation

1 Exhibition Stand – 21 individual exhibitors!

The Brief: To create a stand for  the UK Innovation Agency to showcase 21 individual companies within one cohesive stand, each zone to feature a laptop demonstration area.

The space measures 11m x 7m, and wants to be an engaging environment for demonstrations, networking, and private meetings for each of the 21 exhibitors.

Our Challenges and Solutions:

LIMITED SPACE

Incorporating 21 evenly spaced demo areas into the 11m x 7m area was a challenge and took many drawings to find the perfect solution.  The diagram of the floor plan illustrates how we made the floor space work perfectly for each exhibitor, each with equal space. The open plan design essential so that visitors and staff don’t feel enclosed in the available space.

As well as creating the 21 zones, the stand design also incorporates:

  • A Reception counter at the front of the stand to meet and greet visitors.  This was perfectly placed as the stand was sited directly opposite the main entrance to the show
  • Essential lockable cupboard storage for shared use
  • Good open access around every side of the stand to welcome potential visitors
  • 3 screens to display show reels – 1 of which is a 55” screen on the back wall of the exhibition stand to attract passing visitors in the main walkway through the exhibition hall
  • A separate shared seated meeting area set away from the demo areas for shared use
  • Stylish slimline lighting to illuminate each exhibitor zone

BUDGET

The budget for the build couldn’t accommodate a platform floor but every exhibitor zone required a power socket to run individual laptops.   The stand was cleverly designed so that all of the electric cabling and power source was distributed through the framework of the stand. The end result was a clean wireless solution.

BRANDING

The stand represented the UK Innovation Agency yet needed to clearly redirect visitors to the 21 exhibitors

UK Innovation Branding

A full header wraps around the entire stand with branding applied to each side and lit to highlight. The two shades of blue/purple for the UK Innovation logo are used as colour blocking on the panels under each exhibitor zone.

The stand carpet is colour split into the two branded colours to add interest and reaffirm the branding on the stand.

Exhibitors Branding

Each exhibitor zone displayed an individual logo panel with a company summary, all the same size and design  These branded signs were designed to be removable so that they could be be relocated to a different exhibitor zone when required.
